American DJ DJ Scan 250 EXAmerican DJ has revamped
its wildly popular DJ Scan 250 HP. This “high performance” model scanner sells for the same low price as
the original, yet includes improved features that produce an even more
creative light show and offer greatly enhanced user conveniences.
Like its predecessor, the DJ Scan 250 EX is an
affordable, easy-to-use DMX scanner that gives mobile DJs the ability
to take an exciting and professional-looking intelligent light show on
the road. But the DJ Scan 250 EX really kicks things up a notch by adding 4 new colors, a 5th DMX channel specifically for control of the 2 new efx that the DJ SCAN 250 EX comes with Fast Strobe and Gobo Shake,
selectable fast and slow built-in programs and get this a metal case(much more durable than it's predecessor's plastic case.)
The DJ Scan 250 EX comes equipped with a 250-watt Elc lamp,
giving users a brighter, longer-lasting light source. The improved lamp makes the units 11
dichroic colors (plus white) more brilliant, increasing the level of
excitement in any venue where mobile DJs work their magic.
The new lamp also boosts the intensity of the DJ Scan 250 EX
10 gobo patterns (plus spot), designed by American DJ. Some of
the gobos have an edgy, high-tech appearance, while others evoke
softer, mellower images. All of them are sure to capture attention in
clubs and on dance floors with their distinctive shapes and stimulating
patterns.
As another upgraded feature, the DJ Scan 250 EX offers now
selectable fast and slow built-in programs to use when not operating
the unit from a standard DMX-512 controller. Thanks to these
varying-speed programs, mobile DJs can quickly adjust to different
moods and music styles and choose exactly how hyper or laid-back they
want the party environment to be.
