The American DJ Fantasy 250 is a professional DMX
lighting fixture designed to work with the entire Accu 250 line, but that doubles as an easy-to-use stand-alone unit. Its
high output, sharply defined optics, and sound-active internal programming create
the appearance of a truly intelligent light show, even when it's being
operated without a benefit of a DMX controller. And, like all of the American DJ Accu 250 line, units can be run all night without shutting down for duty cycles because
their large, super-high-velocity fans prevent them from over-heating.
The Fantasy 250 contains a high-powered 250-watt
discharge projector that produces eye-popping multi-color patterns on
walls, floors, ceilings, building exteriors and other flat surfaces. It uses a combination of 1 gobo, 4 textured glass patterns and a prism
mirror to generate deep 3D-like projections. These unique pattern effects require no knowledge of DMX
programming and give users of the Accu 250 series even more options and
visual variety for creating intelligent-looking light shows. Simply plug
them in, and a complete cycle of 10 built-in programs will do the rest.
Each unit can be XLR-linked to others of its kind for master-slave
operation.
A professional-type fixture designed for nightclubs, productions
and serious entertainers, the 5-channel Fantasy 250 can also be used with a DMX controller. This lets you design your own
customized programs by controlling things like head movement, colors,
gobos and strobing. A Smart Sense feature automatically detects whether the unit is in DMX or master-slave mode, so no additional adjustments
are required.
Like all of the other lights within American DJs Accu 250
line-including the Accu Scan 250, Accu Roller 250, Accu Color 250, Accu
Spot 250 and Accu Wash 250, the new Fantasy 250 comes
with an ultra-bright ZB-MSD250/2 2,000-hour 250-watt discharge lamp.
