DJ of the Month Contest

You think you've got the mixes nobody can comp. You know your equipment like it's an extension of your body. You hear and feel the grooves nobody else does. Face it...when it comes to DJs, there might be better known people out there, but nobody can spin like you, right?

So...prove it! Send us a CD of your best mix.  House, Trance, Hip-Hop, Progressive, D&B...it doesn't matter. We've got a great list of judges lined up, from Midwest staffers to manufacturer reps to Grammy award-winning producers. Each month we'll select one winner from all the entries submitted. That winner will get a bio page on the Midwest DJ of the Month Contest site, including a pic, links to MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube pages (if applicable).

Every month there's a chance to a win a great prize or prizes from contest sponsors like Pioneer, Gator, and Chauvet. We've got more sponsors in the works, too!

Things to pay attention to:

Mixes should be at least 30 minutes long, and no longer than 60 minutes. They will be judged equally on originality, technical merit, and overall creativity.

Entries must be received by the final day of a given month to be considered for that contest. Only one entry per person per month will be accepted.

Mixes entered in the Contest must be the original work and sole and exclusive property of the person submits it. Entries must be submitted by mailing a CD with a 45-60 minute mix to:
