Shure Beta 98D/S

 

 The Beta 98D/S was designed specifically for the drummer in all of us. The Beta 98D/S is a mini condenser used to pick up toms, snares and other percussion instruments. Utilizing an ultra-uniform pickup pattern the Beta 98D/S from Shure has excellent rejection of unwanted noise and provides high gian before feedback. Shure even offers interchangable cartridges for the Beta 98D/S in cardiod and supercarsiod fashions, which allows you to custom tailor your rig.

 

Shure also includes the A98D microphone drum mount making this the most secure mic on your kit. With the flexible gooseneck provided by the A98D, you can postion the Beta98D/S into any postion you need to achieve the sound you desire. The hardware provided by Shure with the Beta 98D/S has been redesigned to be more secure and even mount without a drum key.
